Return and Refund Policy
At Hydromax, we strive to provide high-quality pool equipment and supplies. To protect our business and ensure fair practices, we have the following return and refund guidelines. Please review them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Return Window
- You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, subject to approval.
- Returns must be initiated by contacting our customer support team at support@hydromax.com. We do not accept returns through your account portal without prior approval.
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required for all returns.
2. Eligible Items and Conditions
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in perfect resalable condition (including all accessories, manuals, and tags). Any signs of use, damage, or missing parts will result in denial.
- We accept returns for:
- Select pool pumps, filters, heaters, and mechanical equipment (excludes oversized or heavy items over 50 lbs).
- Limited accessories like ladders and cleaning tools (covers are non-returnable).
- Unopened pool chemicals and test kits only if sealed and undamaged (note: due to safety regulations, no chemicals can be returned once opened or if packaging is compromised).
- Non-returnable items include:
- All customized, personalized, or made-to-order products (e.g., custom-sized pool covers).
- Hazardous materials (e.g., chlorine, acids, or other chemicals) regardless of condition, for health and safety reasons.
- Items marked as "final sale," clearance, or discounted by 20% or more.
- Digital products or downloadable content (if applicable).
- Any item that has been installed, assembled, or exposed to water/chemicals.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos for a possible replacement or refund, at our discretion. Shipping costs may not be covered.
3. Refund Process
- Refunds, if approved, will be issued to your original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal) after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- Refunds include the item price minus a 15% restocking fee and any applicable taxes. Original shipping fees are always non-refundable.
- Refunds typically process within 10-15 business days after inspection, but may take longer depending on your payment provider.
- For partial returns (e.g., from a bundled order), we may adjust the refund amount or deny the return entirely.
- In some cases, refunds may be issued as store credit only, at our discretion.
4. Return Shipping
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance and tracking. We do not provide prepaid labels.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not liable for lost or damaged returns.
- For Amazon orders, follow Amazon's return process through their platform; however, our restocking fee and other terms may still apply where permitted.
5. Exchanges
- Exchanges are limited and subject to product availability and approval. Contact us within the 14-day window.
- If approved, you cover all shipping costs for both the return and the new item.
- If the item is out of stock or we decline the exchange, we'll issue a refund minus the restocking fee.
6. Warranty and Manufacturer Defects
- Pool equipment may come with a limited manufacturer's warranty (e.g., 1 year for pumps). Warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer; we do not handle them.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws, but we reserve the right to enforce our terms to the fullest extent allowed.
7. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact support@hydromax.com with your order details, reason for return, and photos of the item/packaging.
- Wait for our approval email, which may include specific instructions or denial.
- If approved, pack the item securely and ship it to: Hydromax Returns, 1555 NW 28th St, Miami, FL 33142.
- Include a copy of your approval email in the package. Unapproved returns will be refused.
